The Challenge
David wanted to fully upgrade his loft — the old insulation was compressed and ineffective, and he needed clear access to the boiler while improving energy efficiency and sealing the loft hatch against heat loss.
Our Solution
We cleared the loft of all old insulation and waste before installing a 300mm Knauf mineral wool system throughout. A raised boarding platform was fitted to protect airflow and provide safe boiler access. Finally, the loft hatch was insulated and draught-proofed to maximise efficiency and comfort.
