Meet Carl — expert advice, not a sales pitch
Your home appointment will be carried out by Carl, the Director of UK LoftSaver. Carl is not a commissioned salesperson. Having spent years personally installing insulation, boarding and loft access systems, he can assess your loft properly and explain what is genuinely suitable for your home.
Examples of what Carl can look at:
- 1Insulation. The type, depth and condition of the insulation, including gaps, compressed areas and signs of damp or contamination.
- 2Spray foam and roof area. Where spray foam has been applied, the visible condition of the roof area and any access, moisture or ventilation concerns.
- 3Boarding and storage. Existing boards, insulation beneath them, access routes and whether a raised boarding solution may be suitable.
- 4Access and practical details. The loft hatch, ladder, lighting, pipes, tanks, cables and anything else that may affect safe, tidy work.
Why does Carl carry out the appointments personally?
Every loft is different. The age and design of the property, ventilation, existing insulation, storage needs, tanks, pipes, electrics and the way you want to use the space can all affect the right solution. By visiting personally, Carl can identify things that photographs or a quick telephone quote may miss, answer your questions and recommend only the work he believes is appropriate. The same understanding is then passed to the installation team if you decide to proceed.
What happens next?
Carl will explain what he has found and answer your questions. UK LoftSaver will then provide a clear, written, no-obligation quotation. You can decide in your own time, with no pressure to proceed.
Before the visit, please make sure the loft hatch can be reached safely. Do not climb into an unsafe loft or move anything that could put you at risk.
